After 34 years of being privileged to offer Early Years education to the children of Ashtead and the surrounding areas, Hilary is retiring and therefore, sadly, Elmdon will be closing at the end of the Summer Term 2021.

Elmdon Nursery School, for children aged 2½ - 5 years old, occupies the whole of a specially converted bungalow.  It is bright, spacious and carefully equipped, with a welcoming, homely atmosphere. 

There is an attractive garden with both lawned and paved areas incorporating a sandpit, play house, climbing frames and a specially designated digging area/mud kitchen.  The outside space is used as an additional ‘classroom’ for all areas of the curriculum.

Our aim at Elmdon is to create a secure, happy and stimulating environment in which the children can co-exist successfully, develop self-confidence and have the opportunity to fulfil their potential in all areas of development, preparing them for the next stage of their education.

We are proud to have achieved ‘OUTSTANDING’ in our OFSTED inspections in 2011, 2016 and 2020.
